Job Summary

Maintain exceptional guest services in accordance with company standards. Expedite guest transactions and ensure guest satisfaction at the service desk. Control all cash and media materials.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Greet and acknowledge every guest; maintain solid product knowledge; and provide outstanding guest service.
  • Oversee and authorize guest returns, exchanges, merchandise credits, check authorization, charge sends, rain checks, and discretion discounts.
  • Assure the completion of all PoS transactions and the proper control of cash and media at PoS registers.
  • Help train cashiers and crosstrain other associates.
  • Help prepare daily deposits, change, and media; some locations have access to safe combinations and keys.
  • Ensure compliance of company policies, procedures, and practices; support loss-prevention efforts.
  • Oversee the productivity, breaks, and daily scheduling of cashiers; communicate performance issues to management.
  • Maintain front-end supplies.
  • Help provide guest service, floor moves, housekeeping, display maintenance, and merchandise replenishment as needed.
  • Cover cashier shifts when call-offs occur.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
