Role Summary:
The Project Superintendent plays a crucial role in ensuring the successful and timely execution of construction projects. This position is accountable for adhering to project plans, specifications, and local regulations. The Superintendent will coordinate the scheduling of subcontractors, consultants, and vendors, ensuring that all work is completed within designated timelines. Effective communication with the project team, including project managers, architects, engineers, and owners, is essential for addressing any conflicts or revisions to the project plans.
Key Responsibilities:
- Guide and resolve issues among subcontractors and vendors.
- Identify and rectify substandard work.
- Utilize various communication tools, including Procore, to maintain clear and effective dialogue.
- Interpret blueprints and construction documents.
- Demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Project.
- Exhibit physical endurance to navigate the job site, including elevated structures.
- Oversee job site health and safety standards.
- Deliver exceptional customer service, addressing concerns and feedback promptly.
- Communicate effectively in both oral and written formats, facilitating group discussions and meetings.
- Plan and organize work activities efficiently, allocating resources as needed.
- Maintain professionalism in all interactions, demonstrating respect and accountability.
Qualifications:
- Willingness to travel as required.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office 365 applications.
- Experience with Microsoft Project is advantageous.
- Ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment.
- Strong analytical and research skills.
- Detail-oriented with a high level of motivation.
