Job Responsibilities:

The Production Planning Coordinator is responsible for creating detailed schedules for clients according to established plans and communicating any scheduling challenges to the relevant management team. Key duties include:

  • Maintaining precise inventory records and managing purchase orders for clients.
  • Ensuring that all documentation is organized and up-to-date.
  • Inputting inventory data into the system and charting inventory progress.
  • Preparing and managing purchase orders accurately.
  • Posting daily achievements and assisting in the revision of operational standards.
  • Compiling reports and data as required by the department.

Qualifications:

Candidates should possess:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent.
  • A minimum of three years of experience in a production setting is preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong communication, organizational, leadership, and mathematical skills.
  • The ability to thrive under pressure and adapt to changing circumstances.
  • Basic typing skills of at least 35 words per minute and familiarity with standard office practices.

Essential Skills:

Successful candidates will demonstrate:

  • A solid understanding of fundamental production planning principles.
  • Expertise in Word, Access, PowerPoint, and Excel.
  • Excellent time management and attention to detail.
  • The ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Professionalism in interactions with colleagues and management.
  • Problem-solving skills and the capacity to handle various situations effectively.
  • The physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Salary Information:

Compensation ranges from $18 to $20 per hour.
