As a Patient Advocate at Prelude Fertility, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional service to our patients. Your primary responsibilities will include facilitating a seamless front desk experience, providing outstanding customer support, managing appointment schedules, and ensuring effective communication across departments. Teamwork with the front desk personnel and other units is essential for achieving success in this position.
Working Hours: 7:00am-4:00pm, with potential for extended hours based on workload. On-call rotation required for weekends and holidays.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handling incoming calls and emails, ensuring the smooth flow of information between various departments while maintaining patient care standards and confidentiality
- Coordinating patient appointments, follow-ups, and referrals
- Welcoming visitors and directing them to the appropriate staff members
- Managing medical records and necessary documentation
- Assisting patients with forms and administrative tasks
- Completing special projects as assigned
- High School Diploma required; Bachelor's degree preferred
- Minimum one year of experience in a medical administrative environment
- Familiarity with Electronic Medical Record systems is a plus
- ++Proficiency in Spanish is an advantage++
