Role Summary: We are in search of a proficient Technical Support Analyst to become a vital part of our team. The successful candidate will possess comprehensive technical expertise and a solid background in the installation, assistance, configuration, and troubleshooting of various Microsoft applications and client devices. This role requires effective communication with internal users of diverse technical backgrounds and collaboration with other support teams to address a broad spectrum of technical challenges.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install, assist, configure, and troubleshoot Microsoft Windows 10, Microsoft Office 365 suite (including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, SharePoint), Microsoft Project/Visio, as well as client desktops, laptops, tablets, and iOS devices.
  • Utilize Active Directory, execute PowerShell scripts, and manage workstations and laptops using SCCM.
  • Design and support customized Windows 10 configurations as required.
  • Provide on-site desktop assistance to a substantial user base.
  • Adhere to established operating procedures and contribute to process automation.
  • Oversee support operations using a ticketing system such as ServiceNow or Remedy.
  • Offer occasional support during non-standard hours as necessary.
  • Assist the Endpoint Computing & Administrative Services team.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of five years of experience in providing helpdesk or desktop support within a Microsoft Windows environment.
  • Experience functioning as Tier 2 or Tier 3 IT Help Desk support.
  • Strong focus on customer service and self-driven.
  • Proven analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for engaging with individuals at various organizational levels.

Preferred Skills and Experience:

  • Familiarity with government compliance standards, including OMB requirements, FISMA, FedRAMP, RMF, and CSF.
  • Experience with cloud technologies and services.
  • Knowledge of project management methodologies and information security compliance.
  • Understanding of laws and regulations governing information security.
  • Exceptional communication skills and adaptability to evolving priorities.
  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to delivering outstanding customer service.

Deliverables:

  • Evaluate the current continuous monitoring program and suggest enhancements.
  • Conduct regular analysis of FedRAMP continuous monitoring packages.
  • Guide clients on compliance activities while remaining updated on relevant legislation.
  • Perform security risk assessments for third-party applications.
  • Ensure that organizational recommendations align with strategic objectives.
  • Identify long-term financial implications related to cloud migration.
  • Review processes and procedures, providing recommendations for improvement.
  • Offer additional support services, including advisory consulting and documentation review.
