Bioimaging Analyst

We are seeking a highly skilled Bioimaging Analyst to join our team at the National Institutes of Health in Bethesda, MD. As a Bioimaging Analyst, you will be responsible for providing training and technical support for programs, algorithms, and pipelines generated during the course of this work.

• Provide training in and technical support for programs, algorithms, and pipelines.
• Instruct staff in computational analysis of data.
• Generate and optimize programs and scripts for data analysis.
• Serve as bioinformatics expert and coordinate with teams of biologists.
• Coordinate building bioinformatics infrastructure.
• Provide broad-based programming and analytic support for bioinformatic and research projects.
• Install, troubleshoot, and run open-source and commercial scientific software.
• Perform computational analysis of data and interpret results.
• Provide reports based on analysis of scientific data.

• Master's Degree in Computer Programming & Data Processing, Biomedical Engineering, Biological Engineering, Neuroscience, Physiology.
• Implement and optimize algorithms and models to analyze biomedical images.
• Experience in developing and implementing algorithms and models for image analysis tasks using Python and popular libraries/frameworks.
• Familiarity with biomedical image modality and formats.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and collaboratively.
