About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team in an inpatient rehabilitation setting. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will work closely with patients, families, and healthcare professionals to provide high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities
  • Evaluate and treat patients with communication and swallowing disorders using evidence-based practices and clinical expertise
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient's needs and goals
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and caregivers to promote understanding and empowerment
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest research, best practices, and industry developments to continuously improve patient outcomes

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Master's or Doctoral degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Certification by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) or equivalent
  • Previous experience working in an inpatient rehabilitation setting, preferably in a hospital or long-term care facility
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse populations
  • Ability to maintain accurate records and documentation, as well as participate in quality improvement initiatives
