Executive Assistant

Amentum is seeking an experienced Executive Assistant to provide high-level administrative support to our Director's Office at Fort Belvoir, VA. This role will serve as the primary interface for all visitors and inquiries to the office, providing exceptional customer service and administrative support to the Director and senior staff.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate travel logistics for the Director and Vice Director, including airline and hotel reservations, vehicle rental, and passing clearances.
- Plan, coordinate, and implement administrative and logistical tasks for senior officer and civilian visits, conferences, and awards ceremonies.
- Manage the Director's daily event schedule, coordinating with divisions as needed to ensure the Director is prepared for events.
- Act as the owner of the Agency's Executive Calendar, managing daily changes using Microsoft Office products and leading weekly calendar meetings to synchronize the Director's schedule.
- Serve as the Director's Group records manager, maintaining and ordering office supplies as needed.
- Review and edit correspondence coming to the front office, ensuring it meets the formatting and content standards of the Air Force and/or Joint Staff.
Requirements:
- Must have a current Secret clearance and the ability to obtain/maintain a Top-Secret with SCI clearance.
- High School Diploma and 5 years of relevant experience performing similar administrative tasks at the Joint Staff, OSD, Combatant Command, and/or Service Headquarters staff.
- Excellent customer-service skills and the ability to focus on details.
- Strong skills with Microsoft Office, SharePoint, and Defense Travel System (DTS).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree.
Service Contract Act (SCA) Compensation & Benefits:
This is an hourly, overtime-eligible position that falls under the Service Contract Act (SCA). In accordance with the Health and Welfare provisions of the SCA, and in addition to your base hourly rate, you may be eligible to receive an additional health and welfare payment for each hour you work to ensure compliance with the minimums set forth by the act. The amount you are entitled to receive will vary depending upon the fringe benefits you select now and in the future.
