Customer-Focused Duties:

  • Provide accurate pricing and quotes to clients.

  • Address customer inquiries and complaints, coordinating with plant staff as necessary.
  • Send order confirmations via fax.
  • Process purchase orders and manage accounting credits.
  • Handle billing processes effectively.

Internal Operations Duties:

  • Coordinate internal scheduling with sales and production teams.
  • Order materials and supplies timely for production needs.
  • Monitor warehouse inventory to ensure product availability.
  • Analyze monthly usage of warehouse items and manage restocking.
  • Confirm orders and maintain accurate customer files.
  • Record and communicate changes to customer orders.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned by management.

Project Management Responsibilities:

  • Generate project status reports.
  • Oversee billing processes related to projects.
  • Collaborate with suppliers to ensure project specifications are met.
  • Confirm production specifications and ensure adherence to delivery schedules.
  • Address customer inquiries and resolve complaints promptly.

Education and Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Some college or technical coursework preferred.
  • Experience in a manufacturing setting is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with the corrugated industry is a plus.

Technical Proficiencies:

  • Knowledge of computer data entry applications.
  • Understanding of production processes and product knowledge.
  • Familiarity with quality standards such as ISO and QS.

Language and Mathematical Skills:

  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to interpret business documents and write reports.

Reasoning and Physical Demands:

  • Ability to address a variety of problems with limited information.
