Job Summary

As a Cook with Morrison Healthcare, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality food service to our patients and customers. We are seeking a skilled and dedicated individual to join our team in a full-time or part-time capacity.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and cook food items according to standardized recipes and instructions to meet production, delivery, and service schedules.
  • Serve meals or prepare for delivery by using correct portioning, meeting outlined standards, ensuring that food is at the correct temperature, and is attractive and tasty.
  • Use established ticket collection procedures during service and maintain accurate records from the area worked during service periods.
  • Clean the kitchen after preparation and serving, maintaining high standards of cleanliness, and store or discard excess food in accordance with safe food-handling procedures.
  • Operate and maintain kitchen equipment as instructed and assist in production planning, record keeping, and reporting as required.
  • Assist in the ordering and receiving of all food and supplies as needed and report any needed maintenance, faulty equipment, or accidents to the supervisor immediately.
