Job Title: Energy Design Engineer

You will play a vital role in the development of innovative solutions for modernizing and repairing customer-owned power generation equipment. As a member of our team, you will collaborate with experienced engineers to assess and provide technical advice on synchronous generators and exciters.


Salary: $120,000 - $180,000 per year

About the Role
  • Develop detailed design assessments, analysis, and engineering instructions to support manufacturing operations associated with new manufacture and service repair of generator and exciter products.
  • Collaborate across teams to provide technical advice, cooperative problem-solving, and execution of design improvements.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited university/college.
  • 5+ years of related engineering work experience required.
  • Excellent communication skills across audiences – customer, engineering, management, manufacturing.
  • Demonstrated experience in learning new software and IT tools, experience in SAP or Teamcenter a plus.
