Job Summary:
LEARN RESC is seeking energetic and dedicated professionals to join our team as Intervention Specialists in our ABA and ED classrooms at our Ocean Avenue LEARNing Academy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the educational and behavioral development of Special Education students with ASD, working with a dedicated classroom team to provide instructional support, student monitoring, and data collection.
- Collaborate with teachers and other support staff to develop and implement individualized education plans.
- Provide training in Safety Care techniques to ensure the well-being and safety of students.
- Work closely with families to ensure a collaborative approach to student support.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma; experience working with children with autism or emotional/behavioral challenges and their families preferred.
- Experience in ABA programs preferred.
- Level 2: Minimum of an Associates Degree or two years of college equaling 60 credits or more, or hold current Registered Behavior Tech and Parapro certifications.
