Job Title: Speech-Language Pathologist

ProCare Therapy is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team in East Lyme, CT. This full-time position focuses on an elementary caseload, offering a wonderful opportunity to support young students in their communication development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments and provide intervention for students with speech and language disorders.
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student's needs.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and support staff to foster a supportive learning environment.
  • Monitor and document student progress, adjusting therapy plans as necessary.
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student goal-setting and support strategies.

Qualifications:

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • Current Connecticut licensure and ASHA certification (CCC-SLP preferred).
  • Experience with elementary-aged children is preferred but not required.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A passion for helping young learners succeed academically and socially.
