Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform professional accounting duties of average difficulty, including providing financial services for the Division of Occupational Safety & Health (DOSH) in the Elevator & Amusement Ride/Tramway (EV/ART) Accounts Receivable Unit.
  • Work under the general supervision of the Senior Accounting Officer (Supervisor) to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
  • Develop and implement financial policies and procedures to ensure compliance with state and federal regulations.
  • Conduct financial analysis and provide recommendations to management on financial matters.
  • Collaborate with other accounting units and divisions to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
Requirements:
  • Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), accounting and budgeting principles, methods and procedures.
  • Ability to audit financial information and verify accuracy.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to research, analyze situations, and make recommendations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with management, staff, and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong commitment to quality and customer service.
