Responsibilities:
  • Conduct MRI procedures on pediatric patients, ensuring accurate and high-quality imaging results.
  • Prepare patients for procedures, providing clear and detailed information regarding the process and care.
  • Operate MRI equipment, including ancillary equipment, following safety procedures and protocols.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals, adhering to department expectations for interactions.
  • Assist with administrative duties, including scheduling appointments, patient instructions, and record maintenance.
Requirements:
  • Graduation from an accredited Radiology program.
  • Certification as a Registered Magnetic Resonance Technologist (ARRT(MR)) or American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists (ARMRIT-MR).
  • American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Provider certification.
Work Environment:

This position requires frequent exposure to radiation, blood/body fluids, and infectious disease. The successful candidate will be able to manage stress, work effectively with others, and make decisions under pressure.
