Job Summary

As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in facilitating the collection of monies owed to SMC Corporation of America. Your expertise in accounts receivable management will help maintain healthy cash flow and prevent the development of bad debt.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Run age trial balance reports and process them efficiently
  • Establish communication with customers to facilitate collections of past-due invoices
  • Develop and implement payment plans to ensure timely payments
  • Monitor and improve key A.R metrics, including turnover, past due percentage, and bad debt
  • Provide regular updates on sales and management information related to A/R
  • Resolve customer complaints and issues in a timely and professional manner

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in PC utilization, including Windows software
  • Previous experience in collection or accounting is a plus
