Job Description

Purpose:

The primary objective of this role is to ensure timely and accurate payment of invoices and posting of operating expenses to the appropriate financial sub-ledger. This position requires a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail in assessing the validity of invoices, verifying proper authorization, and ensuring correct department, location, and account charges.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process non-inventory accounts payable on a daily basis.
  • Manage and process all non-inventory purchase order invoices in the AP system.
  • Handle all invoice-only non-inventory payables.
  • Assist with month-end closing processes for non-inventory payables.
  • Verify and match all non-inventory payments with supporting documentation.
  • Support the preparation of spreadsheets and analysis as requested by the supervisor.
  • Participate in assigned projects.
  • Reconcile expense-related accounts as assigned.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma required.
  • 2-3 years of accounting experience preferred.
  • Proficiency in spreadsheet and word processing skills.
  • Effective communication skills with employees and vendors.
  • Attention to detail and high degree of accuracy.
  • Experience with Infor SyteLine accounting software.
  • Manufacturing experience with multi-location organizations is a plus.
