- Conduct speech therapy sessions to help patients improve their communication skills.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, including progress notes and treatment plans.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date on best practices and new technologies.
- Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology or related field.
- Current Louisiana Speech Pathologist license or eligibility for licensure by examination or reciprocity from another state.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
- Certification of Clinical Competence from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) within 2 years of hire.
- Experience working with pediatric and adult populations.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
