- Guarantee compliance with safety protocols and industry regulations.
- Perform thorough inspections and non-destructive evaluations to confirm weld integrity.
- Conduct maintenance and advanced diagnostics on welding machinery.
- Interpret and analyze complex blueprints and technical documents.
- Guide and educate Welding Technicians I and II, imparting best practices and insights.
- Collaborate closely with engineers, project leaders, and other relevant parties to secure project success.
- Propose enhancements to processes to boost efficiency and quality.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; advanced technical certification or associate degree is preferred.
- Over 5 years of welding experience.
- Expertise in MIG, TIG, and arc welding techniques.
- Proficient in reading and interpreting complex blueprints and technical schematics.
- Strong leadership and mentoring capabilities.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills and meticulous attention to detail.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills.
- Adept at managing multiple projects and adhering to strict deadlines.
Physical Demands
- Ability to lift weights up to 100 pounds.
- Capable of standing for extended periods.
- Exposure to typical noise, dust, and fumes associated with a welding setting.
- Excellent vision, including the ability to perform close-up work and distinguish colors.
