We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Trauma and Acute Care Surgeon to join our team at Duke University Medical Center. As a leading academic and tertiary care facility, we offer a rich environment for teaching, research, and exceptional patient care.

About the Position

This full-time academic position is part of our Division of Trauma, Acute & Critical Care Surgery in the Department of Surgery. The successful candidate will be a Board Certified/Board Eligible General Surgeon with added certification in Surgical Critical Care and fellowship training in Surgical Critical Care.

Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional patient care and management in the trauma and acute care setting
  • Contribute to the teaching and training of residents and fellows in trauma, critical care, and acute care surgery
  • Engage in research and academic activities, with opportunities for growth and development
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of specialists and subspecialists to deliver expert and timely care to patients
