- Schedule and manage staff to ensure adequate coverage and effective service delivery.
- Maintain a safe and healthy environment for clients and staff.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery and effective communication.
- Monitor and report on client progress and program outcomes.
- Working knowledge of developmental, behavioral, and psychiatric disorders.
- Knowledge of staffing and supervisory methods, practices, and techniques in a 24-hour a day/seven day a week environment.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to observe details and make appropriate decisions.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships.
- Ability to deal calmly with high-stress situations.
- Shift Manager training or successful completion of training within six months of hire.
