About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Catheterization Laboratory Registered Nurse to join our team at Alaska Regional Hospital. In this role, you will assist with invasive cardiac, vascular, and interventional procedures, working closely with our multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care to our patients.

Responsibilities
  • Provide assistance with all aspects of the procedure, including transport, site preparation, sterile procedure, patient monitoring, and hemostasis following removal of catheter or sheath.
  • Collaborate with fellow members of the team to ensure effective communication and seamless delivery of patient care.
  • Develop and maintain accurate and timely patient records.
Requirements

To be considered for this position, you must have a current nursing license in good standing, associate's degree in nursing required, bachelor's preferred, two to three years of Cath Lab experience, Emergency Room / ICU experience preferred, American Red Cross or American Heart Association Basic Life Support Course (BLS or BCLS) and Certification, and American Red Cross or American Heart Association Advanced Cardiac Life Support Certified (ACLS).
