Job Title: Cardiac Imaging Specialist

Overview

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Cath Lab Technologist to join our team at Great Bay Staffing Group. As a Cath Lab Technologist, you will be responsible for assisting with invasive cardiac, vascular, and interventional procedures in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

About the Role

In this exciting role, you will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality patient care. Your key responsibilities will include facilitating effective communication among departmental staff, ensuring an interdisciplinary approach to patient care, and utilizing appropriate SBAR process for hand-off communication. You will also assist patients through all aspects of procedures, including transport, site preparation, sterile procedure, patient monitoring, and hemostasis following removal of catheter or sheath, and return to room. Additionally, you will maintain accurate, timely, and compliant patient records, complete paperwork associated with procedures, and prepare tests for physician interpretation.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need to possess excellent clinical competency, nursing judgment, teaching skills, and a commitment to providing quality patient care. You will also require strong organizational and time management skills, as well as the ability to function well under stressful situations. You should have experience scrubbing, monitoring, and circulating, and preferably hold certifications such as ARRT/RCIS or RCES. A minimum of 4 years' experience in Cath/IR is strongly preferred.
