About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Cath Lab Technologist PRN to join our team in Anchorage, AK. As a Cath Lab Technologist, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care by performing invasive cardiac, vascular, and interventional procedures.

Responsibilities:
  • Aid with all testing and therapeutics that take place in the Cath lab, including cardiac catheterizations, EP device and ablation therapies, interventional radiology, neuro diagnostic/interventions, endovascular procedures, and structural Heart (LAAC, TAVR) procedures.
  • Facilitate effective communication among departmental staff to ensure an interdisciplinary and collaborative approach to patient care.
  • Assist patients through all aspects of the procedure, including transport, site preparation, sterile procedure, patient monitoring, and hemostasis following removal of catheter or sheath, and return to room.
Requirements

To be successful as a Cath Lab Technologist PRN, you will need:

  • A minimum of an Associate's Degree in health, science, natural science, nursing, engineering, and/or primary science OR a recent graduate of an accredited cardiovascular program.
  • A minimum of two (2) or more years of full-time invasive cardiology experience preferred.
  • American Red Cross or American Heart Association Basic Life Support Course (BLS or BCLS) and Certification.
  • American Red Cross or American Heart Association Advanced Cardiac Life Support Certified (ACLS) within six months of hire.
  • Registered Radiographer (ARRT), or Registered Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist (RCES).
