About the Job

We are seeking a highly skilled Wound Care RN to join our team at a reputable healthcare facility in Shiprock, New Mexico. As a Wound Care RN, you will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating wound care treatments for patients with acute and chronic wounds.

Responsibilities:
  • Assess patients with acute and chronic wounds to develop comprehensive care plans
  • Implement evidence-based practices to promote wound healing and prevent complications
  • Educate patients and their families on wound care techniques, dressing changes, and prevention strategies
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement care plans
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and best practices in wound care management
Qualifications:
  • Active RN license in the state of New Mexico
  • BLS certification required
  • Current Wound Care Certification from an Accredited Wound Care Certification Course
  • Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in professional nursing care
  • Proficiency in various wound and ostomy treatments
  • Background in a clinic setting with a focus on adult care and chronic medical conditions
