The Good Samaritan Society is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at our St. Johns Skilled Nursing Facility in Kearney, NE.

Job Summary

The LPN provides professional nursing care for residents of all ages in long-term care, under the supervision of a registered nurse, advanced practice provider, or physician. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a strong work ethic, and a commitment to delivering high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities

  • Provide technical support to healthcare professionals as needed
  • Administer medications or treatments as ordered
  • Document resident interactions and outcomes related to resident care, medication, behavior, activity, and dietary
  • Counsel residents, family members, and/or resident advocates on prevention and treatment plans
  • Develop a self-care program for residents

Requirements

  • Graduate from an accredited practical nursing program as a Licensed Practical Nurse
  • Associate degree in practical nursing is preferred
  • Currently holds an unencumbered Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license with State Nursing board and/or possess multi-state licensure privileges
