We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Nurse to join our team at the Good Samaritan Society. As a Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our residents.
Job SummaryThe LPN provides professional nursing care for residents of all ages in long-term care, under the supervision of a registered nurse, advanced practice provider, or physician. This role requires a strong commitment to delivering exceptional patient care and a passion for working in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, treatments, and performing various medical procedures.
- Conduct thorough assessments of patients to identify their needs and develop individualized care plans.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination and communication.
- Document patient interactions, outcomes, and progress in a timely and accurate manner.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date on the latest medical advancements and best practices.
- Graduate from an accredited practical nursing program as a Licensed Practical Nurse.
- Currently holds an unencumbered Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license with State Nursing board and/or possess multi-state licensure privileges.
- Obtains and subsequently maintains required department-specific competencies and certifications.
