Substitute Campus Nurse Opportunity

**Job Summary:**

We are seeking a qualified Substitute Campus Nurse to join our team at Klein ISD. As a Substitute Campus Nurse, you will provide nursing services to students and staff on an as-needed basis.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide nursing care to students and staff in a school setting.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
  • Monitor and maintain accurate records of student health information.
  • Collaborate with school administrators and staff to ensure a safe and healthy learning environment.
  • Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current on best practices in school nursing.


Requirements:

  • Must be currently licensed as a registered nurse in the state of Texas.
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing. Minimum of BSN preferred.
  • Minimum of three (3) years of professional nursing experience. Community health/public health/pediatric experience preferred.
  • Currently CPR/AED certified.
  • Good computer skills.
