Job Summary:

As a skilled Mental Health Therapist, you will provide high-quality psychotherapy services to individuals in need, utilizing your expertise in assessment and treatment to make a positive impact on their lives. You will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care, and participate in training and clinical supervision of psychotherapy interns.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough psychosocial assessments, Mental Status Exams, and identify special or high-risk issues to inform treatment planning.
  • Develop and implement effective treatment plans, working closely with clients to set realistic goals and outcomes.
  • Provide crisis intervention and consultation services, utilizing your expertise in brief treatment models, family, couple, and group therapy models.
  • Manage a caseload and work schedule to meet departmental productivity standards, while maintaining a balance of professional standards and quality patient care.
  • Maintain ethical professional relationships with colleagues and demonstrate respect, dependability, flexibility, initiative, and follow-through in all interactions.
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in a behavioral science.
  • Minimum two years of recent, continuous experience as a psychotherapist, or equivalent experience in a managed care setting.
  • Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (Washington), Mental Health Counselor License (Washington), or Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (Washington) required at hire.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience working with specialized populations, such as children, adolescents, or older adults.
  • Proficiency in treatment models appropriate to specialized populations.
