Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled Speech Language Pathologist to provide evaluations and treatments to patients with communication disorders. The ideal candidate will have strong English communication skills, both verbal and written, and be proficient in using Windows-based programs such as Word, Outlook, and Excel.


Responsibilities
  1. Evaluate patients based on departmental standards and establish individualized goals for each patient.
  2. Conduct and modify evaluations based on patient symptoms, level of activity, and medical status.
  3. Treat patients with appropriate therapeutic techniques and modalities to attain established goals.
  4. Educate patients and families on home exercise programs and functional activities to maximize independent function.

Required Qualifications
  • Graduate of an accredited program of Speech Language Pathology with a minimum of a M.S.
  • Holds current Connecticut license for Speech Language Pathology.
  • Certificate of Clinical Competency from the American Speech Language and Hearing Association.
