Speech Pathology Specialist

As a Speech Language Pathologist at ECHN, you will be responsible for evaluating and treating patients with communication disorders. Your role will involve utilizing interdisciplinary approaches for patient care, educating families on treatment plans, and documenting all processes according to departmental policies.
Key Responsibilities- Evaluating patients based on departmental standards
- Conducting and modifying evaluations based on patient symptoms, level of activity, and medical status
- Treating patients with appropriate and acceptable therapeutic techniques
- Administering physical agents and manual therapeutic techniques to attain established goals
You will also have the opportunity to educate patients and families in home exercise programs and functional activities to maximize independent functional activity. Additionally, you will determine when a patient has achieved maximal benefit from treatment and recommend discharge if appropriate.
Requirements- Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology
- Current state license in Speech Language Pathology
- Certificate of Clinical Competency from the American Speech Language and Hearing Association
