Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Merchandise Receipt and Inspection: Unload merchandise from trailers, inspecting goods received against purchase orders or invoices, and verifying records of goods received or shipped.
  • Inventory Management: Stack and load cartons and other containers for outbound shipment, stock shelves with goods received, and maintain accurate inventory records.
  • Material Handling: Operate material handling equipment safely and efficiently to move merchandise, utilizing small hand tools, pallet handlers, and hand trucks.
  • Order Fulfillment: Select and pick product for shipment from computerized store order requests, matching inventory to order numbers, and preparing merchandise for shipping using shrink wrap machines or other devices.
  • Inventory Control: Utilize mobile handheld or hands-free RF devices to scan and track materials, ensuring accurate inventory levels and efficient order fulfillment.
Requirements
  • Education: High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience: 0-1 years of experience in distribution, warehouse, supply chain, or similar industry preferred.
  • Skills: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, lift up to 50-85 pounds, and stand for long periods. Strong communication and problem-solving skills required.
  • Physical Demands: Standing and walking for extended periods, frequent lifting and bending, and occasional exposure to chemicals and extreme temperatures.
