Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Merchandising Lead to join our team at Walmart. As a key member of our sales floor team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, managing merchandise, and ensuring a positive shopping experience for our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide member service by acknowledging customers and identifying their needs
  • Assist customers with purchasing decisions and locate merchandise
  • Resolve customer issues and concerns in a timely and professional manner
  • Assist management with supervising associates and ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures
  • Receives and stocks supplies and merchandise from distribution centers and vendors
  • Maintains safety of the facility by conducting safety sweeps and reporting unsafe situations to management
  • Ensures maintenance of the sales floor and merchandise presentation
  • Monitors food and merchandise quality by ensuring product rotation, code dating, and sanitation standards are followed
  • Develops and implements processes and practices to meet business needs
  • Demonstrates and promotes compliance with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity
  • Leads and participates in teams by using and sharing resources, information, and tools
Requirements
  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • 6 months retail experience and 6 months customer service experience
  • Preferred qualifications include leading a team, supervising experience, and hiring, evaluating, mentoring, developing, and managing the workload of others
