Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Toyota Certified Technician to join our team at Thousand Oaks Toyota. As a key member of our service department, you will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing mechanical issues in a timely and efficient manner.

Key Responsibilities
  • Diagnose and repair mechanical issues in a timely and efficient manner
  • Perform multi-point inspections, maintenance, and service-related repairs
  • Document work performed consistent with Bureau of Automotive Repair (BAR) guidelines
  • Ensure workspace is clean and safe at all times
  • Create and maintain loyal service customer relationships
Requirements
  • Minimum high school diploma or GED equivalent required
  • Graduation from a recognized Automotive/Technical School
  • Prior automotive technician work experience, factory trained, and/or manufacturer certified is preferred
  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, enthusiastic presence with an ability to work effectively and efficiently in a team environment
  • Ability to apply a common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form
  • Work effectively and efficiently as an individual and in a team environment
  • Have and maintain an excellent driving record
  • Professional appearance and work ethic
  • All potential employees must pass pre-employment testing including a background check and drug screen
