As a Registered Nurse at Women & Infants Hospital, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality nursing care to patients and their families. Your primary responsibility will be to assess, plan, and implement individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient. You will work collaboratively with the healthcare team to ensure seamless care transitions and optimal patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities- Provide primary nursing care to patients, including assessment, planning, and implementation of care plans
- Assume responsibility for other nursing care processes, including medication administration, wound care, and vital sign monitoring
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure effective communication and coordination of care
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety
- Maintain current licensure in the State of Rhode Island and adhere to all relevant laws and regulations
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of Rhode Island
- Must have and maintain Oncology Nursing Society Certification within one year of hire
- Proficiency in the English language
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks accordingly
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
