We are seeking a highly skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team at Memorial Hermann Health System. As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a vital role in helping patients achieve their maximum potential and independence in their daily lives.
Job SummaryThe Occupational Therapist will assess patients and develop individualized treatment plans to address their unique needs and goals. You will work closely with patients, families, and healthcare teams to provide comprehensive care and support.
Responsibilities- Conduct thorough assessments of patients to identify their strengths, weaknesses, and goals
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address patients' needs and goals
- Provide occupational therapy services to patients, including exercises, activities, and education
- Collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive care and support
- Document patient progress and outcomes in a timely and accurate manner
- Bachelor's or graduate degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited university-based program
- Current or temporary license to practice Occupational Therapy in the state of Texas
- Basic Life Support certification
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
