Memorial Hermann Health System is seeking a highly skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team in Houston, Texas.
Job SummaryWe are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapist to provide high-quality patient care in our pediatric acute care setting. As an Occupational Therapist, you will assess patients, develop and implement treatment plans, and provide direct patient care to help individuals achieve their maximum level of independence in occupational performance areas.
Responsibilities- Assess patients and develop comprehensive treatment plans to address physical, cognitive, perceptual, and developmental skills.
- Provide direct patient care, including therapy sessions and education to patients and caregivers.
- Document patient progress and maintain accurate records.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Participate in program development and quality improvement initiatives.
- Provide training and guidance to students and interns.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited university-based program.
- Current license to practice Occupational Therapy in the state of Texas.
- Basic Life Support certification.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
