Electrical Maintenance Supervisor Job Description

At TPI Staffing Group, we are seeking an experienced Electrical Maintenance Supervisor to join our team. As an Electrical Maintenance Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the daily management and execution of various maintenance activities, including preventive, predictive, corrective, and emergent maintenance tasks.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead a team of maintenance personnel to ensure the efficient and effective execution of maintenance tasks.
  • Develop and implement systematic processes to achieve maintenance objectives and support manufacturing excellence.
  • Work closely with vendors, contractors, and maintenance teams to plan, prioritize, and schedule maintenance work.
  • Ensure crew effectiveness and policy discipline to all company and customer standards.
  • Develop and continuously improve the preventative, predictive, and condition-based maintenance monitoring programs for all mill equipment.
  • Utilize a Computerized Maintenance Management System to effectively manage work and achieve a minimum of 98% mill utilization in the most cost-efficient manner.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field desirable.
  • 5-7 years of related experience in electrical maintenance and supervision.
  • Strong team and leadership skills, with a strong electrical background and some mechanical background.
  • Strong computer skills, with familiarity of CMMS tools and techniques for task development and requisitioning of related parts and materials.
  • Highly motivated and self-directed, with strong leadership skills.
Work Environment:

The role primarily operates in an industrial and office environment, requiring frequent movement between different areas of the facility. The industrial setting may involve exposure to noise, heavy machinery, and varying temperatures.

The position may require standing, walking, and moving around the facility for extended periods. Occasional lifting of moderate weights and operating standard office equipment is also required.

Safety is a top priority, and strict adherence to safety protocols and the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) is mandatory to ensure a safe working environment.
