**Job Summary**

Envision is seeking a highly skilled Data Architect to join our team. As a Data Architect, you will be responsible for designing and developing effective data architectures in our Enterprise Data Warehouse.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Anticipate and meet strategic and tactical data requirements, designing and developing effective data architectures in the Enterprise Data Warehouse.
  • Document data and metadata comprehensively in a manner consistent with industry and departmental practices, and integrate data to promote consistency, transparency, clarity, and accuracy.
  • Supervise all steps in the development and delivery of these models and structures.
  • Identify and pursue opportunities to acquire, store and deliver data more efficiently and effectively in the Enterprise Data Warehouse.
  • Advise upcoming and ongoing projects on data warehouse activities.
  • Research and investigate new and improved data sources to respond to customer needs.
  • Follow and suggest improvements for established Data Management standards, practices, and procedures.
  • Provide scope and time estimates for data-related activities for prospective effort.
  • Evaluate the data needs for projects and advise on approaches and solutions to meet them.
  • Develop and maintain data diagrams and models using approved tools.
  • Ensure that developed content aligns with architectural design and performs as expected.

**Requirements**

  • Extensive data architect knowledge - must know data warehousing.
  • Star Schema knowledge heavily desired.
  • Microsoft Azure experience required.
  • 3-7 years of heavy data warehouse experience required.
