About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Sales Solutions Architect to join our team at Cox Communications. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing cloud solutions that meet the needs of our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide pre-sales technical support to drive revenue and cloud adoption
  • Conduct full technical discovery and assessment workshops to identify pain points and gather business and technical requirements
  • Architect client solutions to meet client requirements using a well-architected framework methodology
  • Communicate proposed architectures in the pre-sales cycle for early validation and verification
  • Be a technology evangelist and educate prospects and customers on cloud solutions
  • Interface with Product Marketing and provide feedback for improving product quality and capabilities
  • Collaborate in the creation of technical collateral and help develop sales staff through training
  • Produce cost and labor estimates and SOWs for potential projects
  • Provide thought leadership through speaking at industry events and publishing blog posts
Requirements
  • Relevant industry-leading certification (Google Professional Cloud Architect)
  • Deep understanding of public cloud platforms (Google Cloud, Microsoft Azure, AWS)
  • Understanding of containerization and virtualization technologies (Kubernetes, Docker)
  • Understanding of IAAS/PAAS/SAAS platforms (EC2, VMs, etc.)
  • Understanding of IaC tools (Puppet, Ansible, Terraform)
  • Understanding of disaster recovery and data protection principles
  • Understanding of regulatory compliance frameworks (PCI, HIPAA, GDPR)
  • Understanding of relational and non-relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, MS SQL Server, NoSQL)
  • Expertise in networking, compute, storage, and OS fundamentals
What We Offer

Cox Communications offers a competitive salary range of $136,100.00 - $204,100.00 per year, as well as an annual incentive/commission target of $52,800.00. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health care insurance, retirement planning, and paid time off.
