We are seeking a seasoned professional to lead our Secondary Market team. As Director, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to effectively sell assets, manage balance sheet structure, and drive earnings growth.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement standards and processes to optimize asset sales and manage risk.
- Provide scenario modeling and analysis to inform business decisions and drive growth.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to evaluate the credit union portfolio and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Manage investor programs and products, and inform internal lending partners of changes and updates.
- Oversee gain on sale goals and ensure teams meet aggressive service and production timelines.
- Deliver executive-level presentations to report results and propose changes in operations, products, and programs.
- Work collaboratively with senior leadership to drive continuous process improvement and recognize and manage risk within the business unit.
- Minimum 8 years of mortgage lending and secondary marketing experience.
- Minimum 5 years of experience leading a diverse team, including hiring, coaching, and performance management.
- Knowledge of Credit Union, FHLMC, FNMA, and FHA mortgage products, processes, and systems.
- Expert knowledge in secondary market operations, including delivering mortgage loans and loan rate lock processes.
- Demonstrated ability to establish credibility and rapport with internal and external stakeholders.
- Strong business communication skills and ability to deliver effective stakeholder presentations.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and strategic thinking skills.
- Broad knowledge of financial institution operating areas, functions, products, and services, and the laws and regulations that apply to credit unions.
- Project Management experience and familiarity with Six Sigma/DMAIC methodologies.
- Minimum Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or equivalent experience.
- Traditional medical, dental, and vision coverage.
- 401K matching up to 5% per pay period.
- Accrue up to 17 days of Paid Time Off your first year of employment.
- 11 paid federal holidays.
- Special employee pricing on lending products.
