Job Summary

MJ CARE INC is seeking a highly skilled Speech Language Pathologist to join our team in providing exceptional educational services to children with exceptional educational needs. As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will be responsible for organizing, developing, and implementing a school-based speech-language pathology program.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement individualized speech-language therapy plans to meet the unique needs of each student.
  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess students' communication skills and identify areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to develop and implement strategies to support students' communication development.
  • Provide direct and indirect speech-language therapy services to students in educational settings.
  • Participate in the development of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and provide input on speech-language therapy goals and objectives.
  • Maintain accurate and timely records of student progress and communicate regularly with parents and educators.
  • Stay up-to-date with best practices in speech-language pathology and participate in ongoing professional development to enhance skills and knowledge.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
  • Current licensure or certification in Speech Language Pathology.
  • Experience working with children with exceptional educational needs.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with educators, parents, and other professionals.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
Working Conditions

The Speech Language Pathologist will work in a variety of educational settings, including schools and clinics. The position requires the ability to work independently and as part of a team, with strong communication and interpersonal skills. The Speech Language Pathologist will be required to travel to and from schools and clinics, and may be required to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities.
