Responsibilities of the LPN Role

As a Licensed Practical Nurse with Amedisys, you will be responsible for:

  • Verifying the plan of care with the RN prior to each visit
  • Teaching patients and caregivers self-care techniques
  • Reviewing all medications and performing a medication reconciliation at each visit
  • Preparing equipment and materials for treatments using the aseptic technique
