Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at The Plaza at Lubbock. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care and leading our nursing staff to achieve exceptional results.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead Nursing Team: Supervise and direct the delivery of patient care, ensuring that our residents receive the highest level of service.
  • Develop Care Plans: Collaborate with our interdisciplinary team to create personalized care plans that meet the unique needs of each resident.
  • Administer Medications: Safely and accurately administer medications and treatments as prescribed by our physicians.
  • Conduct Assessments: Evaluate the needs of our residents and develop strategies to improve their quality of life.
  • Communicate Effectively: Maintain open and transparent communication with our residents, families, and healthcare team to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Manage Staff: Supervise and mentor our nursing staff, providing guidance and support to ensure they have the tools and resources needed to succeed.
Requirements:
  • Current RN Licensure: Must be currently licensed as a Registered Nurse in the state of Texas.
  • Long-Term Care Experience: Previous experience in long-term care or a related field is preferred.
  • Leadership Experience: Must have experience in a leadership or supervisory role, with a proven track record of success.
  • Strong Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required, with the ability to effectively communicate with residents, families, and healthcare team members.
