About the Role

EnerSys Advanced Systems is seeking a highly skilled Product Engineer to join our team. As a Product Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and engineering analyses on thermal batteries, including conceptual and detailed design, trade-off studies, CAD modeling, and calculations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform detailed design and development in areas such as mechanical, chemical, and electrical engineering design functions.
  • Analyze complex thermal battery electrical, thermal, mechanical, and testing requirements.
  • Develop and implement Design Verification, Acceptance, and Qualification Test Plans to support the different phases of engineering design and development.
  • Work closely with Manufacturing, Program Management, Quality, and Production to develop technical plans that meet customer requirements and support timely delivery of specification-compliant qualified thermal batteries.
  • Transform raw test and production data into useful technical information for analysis and to support Engineering Change Orders and Process Change Orders.
Requirements
  • Bachelor of Science in Electrical, Chemical, or Mechanical Engineering required.
  • Working knowledge of SolidWorks is required.
  • Effective communication and presentation skills are required.
  • Mathematical skills and working knowledge of engineering mathematics are required.
