With our headquarters in Mount Airy, NC, we operate ten manufacturing facilities across eight states, producing a range of products including prestressed concrete strand and welded wire reinforcement.


Your Role

The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing and analyzing data, employing quality tools and methodologies to enhance processes and products. You will oversee daily operations focused on continuous improvement, ensuring safety protocols are adhered to with a commitment to achieving ZERO HARM.


Key Responsibilities
  • Act as the Oracle Manufacturing specialist for the facility, assisting in all related areas.
  • Identify and troubleshoot variances in production or systems, communicating issues to relevant personnel.
  • Monitor Oracle data concerning Rod, WIP, and Finished Goods inventories, ensuring timely and accurate information.
  • Maintain data integrity and review production reports to confirm machines operate as scheduled and at optimal speeds.
  • Coordinate inventory cycle counts and assess results, participating in physical inventories to ensure accuracy.
  • Oversee the job closure process and suggest improvements related to inventory tracking.
  • Collaborate with production supervisors to effectively meet production targets.

Qualifications
  • A minimum of 3 years of relevant supervisory experience is required.
  • Indirectly supervise production supervisors and machine operators, fostering a culture of safety and quality.
  • Possess professional training or knowledge in manufacturing methods; a degree is preferred.
