Role Summary

The Audio-Visual Technician Internship is designed to foster the spiritual, personal, and professional growth of students. As an intern in this role, you will gain hands-on experience in supporting our guests and staff through the management of live event audio, video, lighting, and exhibit AV systems. This opportunity will enable you to make a meaningful impact on others through a service-oriented approach focused on creating an everlasting difference. Key Responsibilities

• Uphold the mission and standards of Answers in Genesis.
• Foster a culture of service in all tasks performed.
• Embrace a proactive approach to all responsibilities.
• Maintain personal integrity in all interactions and assignments.
• Support the AV Team with event preparation and execution (including audio, video, and lighting for live productions).
• Assist the AV Team with routine equipment maintenance.
• Participate in life skills development workshops provided for interns.
• Fulfill additional duties and responsibilities as assigned by management.

Qualifications

• Must agree with and be able to sign the Statement of Faith.
• Must maintain a personal relationship with Jesus Christ and reside in ministry-provided housing during the internship.
• Regular attendance at a local Bible-believing church is required.

Educational Requirements

Minimum of 45 college credits is required.

Currently pursuing a degree is necessary.

Experience with audio, video, or lighting systems is advantageous.

Familiarity with ProPresenter, Microsoft Office, and ETC EOS lighting software is a plus.
