Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Electrophysiology Technologist to join our Cardiovascular Services team at Parrish Medical Center. As a key member of our patient care team, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic and interventional electrophysiology procedures, working closely with electrophysiologists to ensure accurate and efficient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform and assist with complex electrophysiology studies, utilizing advanced equipment and technology.
  • Operate and maintain electrophysiology specialty equipment, including 3D mapping systems and EP monitoring and recording systems.
  • Assist physicians in the performance of pediatric and adult electrophysiology procedures, including diagnostic and interventional procedures.
  • Provide expert clinical care and serve as a resource for internal and external customers regarding standards of care for adult and pediatric diagnostic and interventional electrophysiology procedures.
  • Implement safe, competent, and efficient procedure care, adhering to policies, procedures, and standards of care across various populations and complexity of situations.
Requirements
  • Graduate of a Registered Nurse, Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist, or Radiologist Technologist training program.
  • Registered Nurse (RN), Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS), or American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) certification.
  • BLS certification through AHA.
  • ACLS certification within six months of hire date.
