About the Role
  • Lead and implement quality and continuous improvement strategies, evaluating processes to ensure quality standards are met, improved, and exceeded.
  • Identify potential quality issues and proactively implement solutions to enhance business processes.
  • Analyze and evaluate technologies to ensure they align with quality and safety standards.
  • Document findings and recommendations effectively.
  • Communicate regularly with production leadership and plan projects, garnering leadership support for these initiatives.
  • Monitor and analyze quality performance of incoming materials and outgoing products.
  • Investigate and respond to customer complaints.
  • Inspect and test materials, equipment, processes, and products to ensure quality specifications are met.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Minimum 5 years of work experience in a similar capacity.
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment is essential.
  • Proven track record of producing quantifiable savings and quality improvement in manufacturing.
  • Lean experience with Six Sigma is preferred, as well as ISO Certification.
  • Able to work independently with minimal supervision and communicate effectively at all levels of the company.
  • Strong computer skills: Microsoft Office, Outlook, Excel, and excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Firm understanding of continuous improvement and root cause analysis.
Compensation

The estimated annual salary for this position is $85,000-$110,000, based on industry standards and location.
