We are seeking a highly skilled and enthusiastic Front Desk Agent to join our team at IHG Hotels & Resorts. As a Front Desk Agent, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing a warm and welcoming experience that sets the tone for their stay.
Key Responsibilities- Check guests in and out, handling room assignments and key distribution
- Manage guest bookings, up-selling opportunities, and provide information on hotel amenities and services
- Handle cash and credit transactions, as well as process guest payments
- Provide exceptional customer service, responding to guest inquiries and resolving any issues that may arise
- Stay up-to-date on hotel events and activities, and communicate this information to guests
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure seamless guest experiences
- High school diploma or equivalent required; college or university degree preferred
- Previous experience in a front desk or guest service role, ideally with a hospitality company
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Fluency in the local language, with the ability to communicate effectively with guests
- Ability to lift, push, and pull objects up to 50lbs (23kg), as well as bend and kneel as needed
